The Active Ingredients in EcoZaptm are formulated to work on Mechanical and not
Bio-chemical ways. In other words Pests and Parasites are NOT able to build
up Resistance or become Immune to EcoZaptm.

How safe is EcoZaptm?
Diatomaceous Earth and Sodium Tetraborate Decahydrate (a borate similar
to boric acid).
Take note that in the instance of Sodium Tetraborate Decahydrate the dosage
used in EcoZaptm is far below the level where it could become toxic - even
over extended periods or if consumed in moderate quantities (which is as
unlikely as someone eating a bowl or two of talcum powder).
*It is suggested though, that EcoZaptm be stored cool and kept away from
children, also avoid eye contact and excessive inhalation of dust.
Registration in terms of Act 36 of 1947 and SABS efficacy tests
Although the ingredients of EcoZaptm are well known to be superbly effective in
eradicating for instance cockroaches, fleas and fish moths (see here) in order to
claim such and in order to be marketed in South Africa, registration ito Act 36 of
1947 is obligatory. This process is under way and SABS tests already confirm
that EcoZaptm kills Cockroaches!
